G2099 sp3 interaction with right back at it node

Just as the title states, I was using G2099 in the cav event quest 3.2 and tried to use her sp3 to get the ramp up for the Toad boss as the opponent (Black Panther CW if that matters) was at 3%. However, the sp3 did nearly no damage, and the immunity pops up after, meaning no ramp up for me. Now I know sp3s count as a knockdown for the node, so any damage that would be done wouldn't include debuffs inflicted during, like Magneto's bleeds or armor breaks, but I wasn't aware that G2099's KO mechanic was a debuff. Sorry if this is long, just kinda confused on this.
