War defeat with no matchup?

We have been given a war defeat without even being matched, anyone else get same message?
I know there is a message saying, some teams couldn't find matchup but what about those that received a loss from no participation/matchup also, will this go against the season.
Kabam could you enlighten us to why this has happened pls?

Could you show pic of that War Loss, showing the points (explore, kills, etc) for both sides.

Hard to imagine you could have had a Loss from a war that never even went into Placement yet before it was cancelled (let along actual Attack phase).

You sure you still didn’t have the War Loss mail msg from couple days ago from the previous war ?

No mate the mail came through today, 27th Jan and is why I asked kabam the question, as we never even got matched so wondered how we could have had a defeat message and wanted to make sure it wasn't counted towards season. Hopefully it's just an error from kabam messenger.
