Is unduped King Groot worth ranking?

I need someone to deal with all the annoying power drain nodes in Act 7.
How is his damage without the dupe?

    His damage is the same, the dupe just gives him really good regen.

    I had mine at R4 for a while until I awakened and sigged him

    The dupe is what helps make him sustainable with the regen. He is great for power drain nodes and has potential to hit hard, especially if able to add in a couple synergy members

    Still has solid damage unawakened, but wouldn’t personally rank him up unless he’s at a decent sig level

    As much as I love KG, I don’t think I’d rank him without the dupe, and being at a fairly decent sig level. His damage output doesn’t really change a whole lot with the sig, but he gets a really nice regen that makes him very sustainable. I can’t remember how high it scales, but I feel like at max sig it’s somewhere around 20% of his max health.

    I don't know which nodes you are referring to, But I dont remember 'needing' power drain immune champs.

    I have an unduped KG at r2 just cuz of expiring resources. I wound recommend it otherwise.
