HI all this might be a really dumb question and proves that I am a noob but what does it mean when a champ is Glancing?

It means the Hit cannot be critical and suffers from 50% reduced Attack Rating and -100% Offensive Ability Accuracy.

It is when your attack does not hurt them or does less damage, but they are not evading it so you can do a 5 hit combo. only a few champs do it, but sometimes there are nodes that allow the defenders to glance an attack.
