Is It Normal To Be Dropped Down a Tier in War After a WIN??

Just curious .. I've never seen that happen before but we just dropped a tier after a win.

Just means that more alliances won their wars and increased their ratings more than your last win did.

Hmm ok thanks. But check it ... we're actually the same tier but the different nodes just threw me off .. all the nodes are different and there's no defense tactics now although same Tier as the war before.

We go back and forth between tier 5/6. Sometimes, we are tier 5 but get matchmaking with an alliance in tier 6 and get tier 6 map. That is why the map is different with no defense tactic but we get tier 5 multipliers though.

When matchmaking happens, the game logic flips a coin for tier/map. If your opponent is a tier lower and different map, it's possible you'll get that tier and map or the opposite can happen for your opponent.

It happens since Tier is based off WR, maybe your win was +19, when a bunch of other allies were +47,52,34 etc, and you could have been borderline Tier (X) so it knocked you out.
