Dash distances off?

While playing today, something felt off about "dash distances", Falcon's first hits of SP1&2 in particular. In SP1 he dashes in, flies back and shoots, SP2 is dash and then the loop and strike. He wasn't the only champ I have seen this with tho.
It FEELS like he dashes further than he used to, I have been trying the fight 6x with Kitty due to the new issues and it FELT off (notice the highlight of my subjectivity, I definitely don't say it is this way). Is this just me or have the distances been changed?
I post this in general diacussion because I don't think it is bug or an issue. It can be intended, just not announced (wouldn't be first time) or just me denying my absolute lack of gameplay skills.
