Parry fails completely in new SQ

I am trying to play the new SQ and parry has very low chance to succeed. Out of 10, I've only managed to get only 3 or 4. I've done all of the latest updates so I can't blame the parry fail on anything else.
Device : Xiaomi Mi A3
Game version : 33.3.0
