Can I just say this? So what if he doesn’t have Hela/Herc/CGR/Ghost sized dmg. He doesn’t even need to be close to that level, but what I will say needs dmg wise is Warlock level of dmg. Hear me out. Cap Wilson is a tech champ which implies he won’t have high levels of dmg. Warlock, Nimrod, WM, and Silver Coin all don’t truly rely on dmg to be as high in ranking charts.
Yes, War Machine does have some CGR lvl dmg output once ramped up, but it takes 7 bars of power to get there.
Yes, Nimrod can melt champions that have healing or Prowess on them, but he is used for his utility which is actually better than Warlock.
Yes, Silver Centurion isn’t one of the loved champs, but he is underrated because he one of the only Tech champs to use the slow mechanic.
Yes, you can get some good dmg off warlock through bleed and armor break, but he has good dmg, not Grrrrreat! dmg.
So what am I saying about Cap Wilson? Is it that I’m saying he doesn’t kill RoL WS or Lab Rulk/SL in 1-2 specials? No, of course not. I’m saying he has very low dmg output and needs to be better. I like the utility, and if I get him as a 5*/6*, I’ll rank him up. But not every player is an AW player, so Cap Wilson won’t completely help the casual players outside of the annoying Mutants.
Now, with Battlegrounds coming soon, he may actually be a needed champ for those who’ll play that game mode. I’m not complaining about the champ’s utility or that fact that he isn’t CGR crazy. I’m only saying that his dmg out is too low.
One last thing. SM99 is a great competitive champ, but his dps is also so low that I don’t like him that much, but he at least conquers his fights. Cap Wilson looks like he only counters without trying. Both are great champs, but severely lack dmg. If you guys like these champs, then Psycho-Man should’ve been God tier in your perspective as well, because he has a lot of utility and has almost the same level of dmg as SM99 and Cap Wilson.
