There is no war that will finish after AW season ends. The last war of the season ends on Tuesday around 4pm EST. Season ends Wednesday at 1am EST. Next war starts matchmaking Wednesday around 6pm EST. There is no overlap.

Confused as well, must be mixing up specified times (accommodating for timezones) and seeing a date listed (again, relative to what timezone different people are in).

Only 12 wars / 4 weeks in a season, can’t start a 13th war while season is still in progress. Similarly, there’s nowhere in the world where that final 12th war wouldn’t end until after season ends either.

While you could “Enlist” for the next war after season ends, while the Solo AW Points event is still going on, that Solo event will end prior to actually being Matched for the war and being able to start Placing Defenders. So no extra Solo points possible.
