Reverse controls during defenders' specials

This has been an ongoing issue for months. When I dash back while defender is throwing a special, many times my champ will run forward as if on reversed controls node. It's happened on every game mode and across various champs so it can't be isolated to a particular game mode or champ. And they arent defenders which reverse controls in their kits. Is this a known issue?
