Should I rank up Shang-chi unawakened or wait to dupe someone else?

I have rank up materials for a 6* skill champ minus some gold. I have shang-chi, aegon, masacre, stealth spidey and nick fury all unawakened. Thinking about taking up shang-chi because he is good unduped. Wondering if I should wait to dupe someone else. I am working through act 6 and hope to be throne breaker in the next week or so. I need to get my first rank 3 to do that. I just don’t want to regret it

    Shang chi does not necessarily need the sig, I disagree with @LordPSN.

    With your roster, I’d do shang chi first. If any of the others were duped, I’d consider one of those, obviously nick and aegon first.

    Also, congrats on that BEEFY skill roster!

    He doesn’t need for his utility, it’s just more damage, which he already has in spades.

    I’d definitely rank him up first

    Shang Chi's sig gives him at max a 20% bonus on crits (think of it like a 20% bonus on his sp2). How is that most of his damage? I would go with Shang Chi for sure. Great damage. Great utility. Flexible rotation. Cool animations. What's not to like?

    Definitely shang-chi. Can basically walk through most content with no problems. Doesn't need dupe, just adds some extra damage.

    Shang chi doesn't need the awakening and no his damage doesn't come from awakening him... I have an R5 and his sig barely makes a difference when you have enough charges
