Is Psycho-Man Update Correct in the Update?

Looking at my Psycho…it’s hard to see what’s changed. Is this all?

From what I can tell, there is an additional 5 seconds added to his Sp2 fury buff and 2 seconds added to his Sp2 heal block.

Is the update program officially dead?

I believe its only a few duration changes in his SP1 and SP2 effects.
If these 3 months have been the result of shifting resources for the new balancing programme, it is truly pathetic and disrespectful to the playerbase when 20+ old champions are still sitting in the limbo of uselessness.

Sp1 power drain last 2 seconds longer.
Sp2 fury lasts 5.5 seconds longer.
Sp2 heal block lasts 2 seconds longer.

That's pretty much it.

He appears to have gotten a tiny bump (1827 to 1862 attack and 23730 to 24133 health for my R1) to his base. Or maybe that’s my masteries. Anyway…sheesh.

I really wish Kabam would open a dialogue with players and talk to them about what the real issues with champions are, and what should be addressed to make these champions usable and less disappointing to pull

I’ll reserve final judgement after I test out PM a bit, but it’s hard to express initial reaction as anything other than a huge disappointment. It doesn’t seem like it’s addressed his real issues.

It would be really interesting to know how long this type of value only change actually takes to complete. I’d guess:

-A 20 minute team discussion to decide what what areas of the champion need to be changed.
-Another 20 minutes for the team to discuss how much the values need to be changed by.
-5 minutes to change the actual values in game.
-5 minutes testing the champion
-10 minutes debriefing to confirm the changes meet the the teams expectation.
-Done

I can’t imagine it takes much longer.

Yes—this is not an “update” in anything approaching what we have grown accustomed to over the past few years.

Apart from issues with the parsimonious increase to Psycho, I have a major issue with the way this nibbling change was communicated. Surely the team knew months ago how small this would be—and yet, nothing said. I never expected Psycho to be a top champ, but neither did I expect the first of the new “updates” to be so minimal.

Bad job—period. This represents yet another example of how to build player mistrust.

This is actually embarrassing. No buffs in January or February. This is the one and only buff in March and the first of the year and THIS is what we get. They can’t be serious. In what world is this a good improvement. Kabam is so out of touch and tunnel visioned that they’re sticking with a balancing program no one wanted at the cost of a program everyone loved. Why should the players trust Kabam to not ruin newly-released champions if they can’t even pull this off. Disappointing and frustrating.

@Kabam Miike this psycho man buff is ridiculous after three months of waiting. The buff program was best monthly program summoners looked forward to each month, and now you guys took that from us too. SMFH

To me this is what the CCP should be for. Give them a custom UI where they can toggle durations of buffs/debuffs and you’d be able to see exactly how something performs in game.
