**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Why doesn’t Guillotine apply a Bleed Curse/Pain Link Buff?

It would have made so much more sense if Guilly’s Bleed Curse had been a stackable or indefinite buff instead of a debuff. Pain link may have been more difficult to implement, but Bleed Curse doesn’t cause any damage itself.

This way, Guilly could have increased her bleed rate on crits, and still have some tough Science matches against opponents that can’t gain buffs. Ah well, missed opportunities and all.

Guilly’s Bleed Curse is stackable. If it was also indefinite, she’d be mad broken

It’s stackable, in that you can probably get 2-3 on your opponent and get a special off before they fall off in 10 seconds. So you get an extra bleed or two on specials, which you have to fire off and trade off your souls (and their attack boost) in order to benefit.

It was a missed opportunity to allow Guilly to work better against opponents that aren’t buff heavy, as well. Dr. Voodoo and Mojo place buffs to benefit themselves. Guilly being able to apply an indefinite bleed curse buff would have helped mitigate the constant need to parry/heavy with her miserable block prof, as well as give her a greater chance to place bleeds without trading away souls.

If it were to be indefinite, they would have to be capped at 2-3 for balancing reasons.
Also, Guilly's entire "buff" was a missed opportunity
