Alliance Events duration changed?

Did I miss an announcement changing the duration the multi day alliance event objectives run for? My new SA is showing it is 6 days instead of 7 (don't recall when it actually started to know if it is just a visual issue with the number or if the timer is actually less) and the Arena event is 2 days instead of 3.

    Daylight Savings post.

    the truncated number for # of days an event lasts is being truncated down from 6 days 23 hours, so the number shows as 6 days.
    (Same for 2 days + 23 hrs).

    Lost hour is because of DST change. It is not a whole lost day.

    Thanks for the explanation. I figured it would change the countdown of course but didn't think an hour change would change the blue number.
