Does "3 star" not mean "3 star or lower"?

I just completed the robot challenge and noticed I had a 2 star sentinel in my team just for the heck of it and didn't get the completion rewards. Is this intended?

Probably same as with the 5* vs 6* gates.
5* gate does not mean 5* or higher, it means 5*

Essentially, no. Especially in Carina Challenges, if star levels are specified, then you have to follow the restrictions to the letter. Also, sorry about not getting the rewards, but atoraste it was one of the easier challenges and not AOL or something.

Well at least it wasn't the hardest challenge, like an abyss one. You can still do it pretty easily

Just a heads up, you should try submitting a support ticket. Someone did the LOL 4* sabretooth challenge with a 5 star oml in his team on accident.

After a couple of weeks they came back to him saying they reviewed his situation and saw that he didn't add any positive impact or something to his team. Kabam gave him the completion. It's worth a shot at least!
