Guardian vs domino in Battlegrounds

I've noticed a bug with guardian causing his shock to proc regen from masochism every time domino heavy attacks. I can't actually understand why because it's not like guardian is reapplying the shock but regardless the masochism node seems to be bugged with this interaction

Update it works on anyone with the ability to reduce ability accuracy which means he's almost always trading neutral damage because his crit chance goes down with ability accuracy as well because the crit shock doesn't land either
