Side Quest Requires Daily Grind….

I happily claimed my first sling ring during a busy day yesterday and went on with my work. This evening I see that I’ve got another, and the original doesn’t exist anymore.
I’m now unable to play through and claim the spider-verse side quest rewards for day 1 because I wasn’t able to get to the quest within the ~7 hours that it was active before cycling to the next ring. Even though I claimed both rings.
This is poor planning. Any sling ring claimed should be able to be used at any time (similar to the air walker event 2 years ago).
Something about items I’ve claimed in my inventory disappearing without having used them doesn’t sit right with me.
