Arena Autoplay

I’m sure this might’ve been posted in the past, I’m not sure. However I’m curious to know if Kabam has any plans to incorporate autoplay to Arena, I know the devs may be busy with a lot of things and the game is not at its best lately, but I feel arena is becoming really boring, more than it should be. I know this sounds more like wishful thinking but if not that, at least a change to the current arena state would be much appreciated. Thank you for reading

    But Kabam is/has been working on properly banning and punishing them…

    I look at it as a player who loves this game and enjoys playing it but don’t have the “time” sometimes to play due family, work, etc. But maybe there is a way to have it running in the background put your phone on a table getting some battle chips and units on auto play while you have a moment to something else for like an hour or so. Then you can go back and complete some content. I mean again it probably seems like a big ask but it would help a lot of players

    Well if you have to go there, then let’s go there. The majority of content has auto play but don’t be naive to say that I want the same rewards like those spending hours in arena. It’s like me saying that I expect the same results using auto play on act 7 as those who don’t. Arena is what is know a a grind (performing repetitive task to achieve a desired outcome) therefore the developers understand that it can be boring and tedious for some player (maybe not for you since you are clearly against it) so incorporating auto play is a QoL change rather than an advantage to a certain player, mind you everyone would have the ability to do this(even those players you are defending, remember the ones spending hours in arena). You comment is not only bad but unhelpful so let me give you some advise next time when you have the urge to say something, think is my comment going to help the conversation or not?

    Do you find your statement a bit contradicting? You enjoy to play a game but you want an auto fight on your behalf at the same time? I think the concept of arena is grinding, if you can auto fight then it is no longer an arena. You can auto fight EQ, daily catalyst, daily ISO quests etc. but I don’t think it is correct to have such auto feature in arena/incursion/AQAW/BG.

    You sir, are awesome. This is one of the reason you should intend a way for non modders to benefit the same.
    If you are not on top of the anti-cheat, why punish your loyal players? doesn't make sense.

    Iirc when mcoc was made avalaible in China/chinese servers auto-play in arenas was introduced, think it was in 2015? Could be 2016, not sure if it was continued, but looking at auto-gameplay in story content I would be surprised if you would win a single arena-round.

    You didn't just ask for autofight in arena, which some other content has, you literally asked for arena matches to advance by themselves for hours of arena at a time. No content has this nor is it likely it will ever exist and if it did, was is the point of playing a game that did all the playing by itself? You just want the rewards without the work, it's very obvious.
    Keep the toxicity to yourself, you already tried derailing my thread with similar accusations, which tells me you more than likely are making these “attacks” on multiple threads.

    Like the other comments said, if it truly is that difficult to ban all the arena modders / or if they keep making new accounts, why not level the playing field? Like the posts said, the AI would most likely lose most of the fights anyway.

    The obvious problem with modders is that they affect the competitive side of arena. I think that aspect should still be rewarding for players with a big roster and/or time.
    Perhaps there could be a system in place where auto fighting more than a number of matches would disqualify you for ranked rewards.
    That should be fine if you’re just interested in grinding battlechips.

    I don't want arena autoplay--- I want something more like the daily quest autocomplete.

    Let me not fight, and get about 1/2 the points I "could get" just by acknowledging I "could do it", but its a waste of my time and the Kabam servers.

    Boosts wouldn't apply, champs would still go on cool down, and grinding for a champ would change too much (other than maybe not wasting your time of the first 3-5 matches in your streak).

    This is an even worse suggestion. That would give the average player the ability to get decent scores instantly to smash out all milestones and get tons or battlechips. As far as it goes arena as a mode is horrific. Just dedicate more time to grinding it out. It is a mode even though it's a bad one

    For me, the problem with this idea is that it doesn't tackle the issue at hand - that arenas suck. Why should Kabam focus their resources to implement a change so that people can play the game even less when they could, instead, focus their resources on changing the underlying arena structure to make it more fun? Add some modifiers to the fights so that they become harder but you get more points, for example. Develop some new ideas or mechanics that make the rounds less mind-numbingly tedious. Implement fun! That is what I want from arena, not to just...not play it.

    I'm toxic because I disagree with your entitled requests? You are literally asking to get the same rewards as those who spend hours doing arena but without doing any arena yourself. Why in the world would anyone continue to grind arena themselves for hours if this existed?

    Your saying in derailing the thread by disagreeing with you but your one now comparing this to modders, which has absolutely nothing to do with anything on this thread.
