Parting Thoughts

I’ve played this game since April of 2015. I have invested an incredible amount of time and a considerable amount of money in this game. But now I find myself at my tipping point.

I loved this game for a very long time but after all this time, the game just has lost its pizazz for me. Between the control issues that “dont exist”, the lack of good content, and the general staleness ive been feeling. I enjoyed being a part of this community but I just don’t think ill be able to continue after this season. At this point the only thing keeping me are the generally awesome people.

I'm also thinking of quitting on both of my accounts. One of which has every piece of content done because in my eyes we are quite literately the most disrespected community by the most unrespectable developers ever.

i wish the best for you. i imagine the courage that it must've taken to say goodbye after you've invested so much monetary resources and time into the game, but i hope your life becomes better because of it.

I barely play nowadays. I've basically only done EOP for the last month...and that's only a 1 day thing which is done in roughly 20 minutes lol.

Battlegrounds, which seems to be their next big thing, is a huge miss for me. Just another mode that I'll never play. I only really wanted a single-mode version of incursions. Could not care less about BGs. My interest in the game might spark back up when/if they decide to finally start releasing solo-player endless type content.

Also, I've been experiencing ridiculous levels of lag lately. Truly ridiculous levels. The game freezes nonstop. That's been a huge factor for my negative feelings towards the game lately.

I already did quit from one of my accounts. I am on holiday break from my studies but still I am not bothering to check the other account and its also Thronebreaker . Kabam should respond on the control issues else the players leave the game one after the other. I don't think I will be continuing the game after this first EOP ( Only reason I am playing from the other account). But the parry issues are too much in AQ and I am getting parried by AI in AW every now and then. I wish Kabam comes up with a better plan to address the issues and I hope this silence from them mean they are working on it unannounced 🤞

Thats the hardest part. I left like 30 Line chats but can’t quite bring myself to quit my alliance. Theyre all so awesome. And my other chat with a bunch of buddies.

Actually I was ready to retire, but after a break, I felt less stress.

new marvel games coming out soon "snap" is one of them highly recommend as it will be a great alternative to PVP with marvel characters

Best of luck Mister Puff.. you got to thronebreaker before me have done more content than me.. like you mentioned, i also invested a big chunk of 💰 that I almost feel like I have to continue with my account.. unlike most of the good people here, i lack the drive to reach 'thronebreaker'.. since converting to f2p, I noticed that aside from my alliance mates I am not enthusiastic with the games inconsistent gameplay, control issues and AI's drastic improvements which intercept, parry, re-parry me in AQ or AW (spend revive or potion with loyalty) the compensation package was good for taking care of gameplay bugs.. now that they are 'supposedly' patched.. apparently it's the communities figment of imagination that it still exist.

I hope you don't fully quit, just slightly less active.. whatever you do.. remember to live a happy healthy life.

After 7 years, it’s easy to lose interest and feel disallusioned with the game. Many times my alliance mates and friends are the only reason I’ve kept playing. There’s Nothing wrong with taking a break or leaving even after investing a lot into the game. Maybe you’ll come back and enjoy it after you’ve stepped away for a little bit.

All the best to you man. I myself am tiring over the constant demand for the AW/AQ grind. I just want to have some fun with the game now and I don’t think I’ll quit,.,maybe just drop to a low level alliance and help people out who have some fresh vigour for the game. I have always enjoyed the people/ communicating and helping out when I can the most.

Because saying just "Bye" is considered rude. It's like you are saying "whatever we don't care bye"

OP is a very old respectable member of the forum. It's sad to see him go.

Saying "bye" to someone who said they are leaving is rude? Guess times have changes because I've never known bye to have negative meaning. If I was to add to it such as "bye Felicia" or "bye, don't let the door hit you on the way out" then I'd understand your point.

I guess next time I tell someone "bye" I'll add a best wishes or love letter to it.
