Side quest

Miike said in an early post that we would be able to get all the milestones by just doing the side quest ans no arena. So, where are the remaining points?

Brother, even I had to run it more than once without completion (as to not to lose the key) to get the objectives. Did it just now in dormammu quest. Wasn't able to complete the objectives even after completing every quest. I think we were supposed to do arenas to get the objectives.

Agree here that it should have been stated that arena participation would be necessary to get all milestones. Whoever thought that wouldn't be the case got their maths all wrong.

I have two accounts...
-My main account did every day of quest and then also additional arena to pick up all the milestones (except for sorcerers because for some reason the sorcerer team never showed up in arena).
-My secondary account only did the daily quest and is a long way short of finishing the milestones.

I think maybe they didn't account for the fact that you didn't always face 3x of the champ types on a lane. Like on the mystic/sorcerer one I'd often get SW or Chavez who don't count to the objectives.

All you had to do was start the easiest level of the quest - fight the 3 champs, exit out and go back in. The instructions state you retain the sling if you did not finish the level.

You could repeat this numerous times to reach the objectives quickly, and without doing any arena. Then do the runs to completion on the highest level you were comfortable completing to get the best rewards for each run.

Also FYI, for daily completion events, you could also run these just by going straight to the exit a couple of times and not using any sling.

I didn't do arena, so I kept entering and exiting SQ (don't complete it) to meet the objectives.

I'm not entirely sure that's what they intended, but it's good advice nonetheless.

This doesn't affect me because I don't trust their communication of this kind of info based on prior wrong info so I did arena to make sure I got it however they didn't say you had to do extra runs like that to get the objectives completed, Mike said you shouldn't (or didn't, not sure of exact phrasing) need to do arena and could just get the objectives completed by running the side quest normally. This is yet another example of them telling people the wrong thing because they didn't think through how their content actually works sufficiently to communicate correct info to us. Again, this is not the 1st time something like this has happened.
