AQ Improvement Plan
Let’s start with it needs help. Here are some quick suggestions. Feel free to add or debate.
1.) Shorten the number of days from 5 to 3
It’s too disruptive to MCOC/Real Life balance being 5 days. Plus by day 4 and 5 the staleness of how repetitive it is devours souls
2.) Update potions to reflect the state of the game in 2022
Team potions that barely get my team 20% of their health for 100 to 300 units… what a bargain! We need potions that reflect R3/R4 attacker meta healthpools and we need them at a fair cost. If these prices weren’t obscene people probably don’t consider quitting altogether because of this game mode.
3.) Map crystal rewards need to be revisited. I think maps 7 and 8 are fine but 4-6 map crystal payouts are laughable.
4.) fix AQ AI, this game mode has always had the absolutely most atrocious AI. It’s never been that fun and now it’s worse than ever. I should never time out trying to bait specials for 90 seconds in any game mode. But in AQ it’s not only possible I expect it.
5.) game crashes should have at least one free mulligan in AQ. This isn’t a competitive game mode outside of scoring and deaths and item use don’t count towards that. Stop penalizing the player base for your product not working as expected
