Should I rank 6* CGR even though I have him 5*R5?

I already have my 5* CGR at r5 sig 20. He was my 1st r5 and I use him a ton. Is the 6* worth using a 1-2 gem on cause I have no other good options at r1 right now

Have him at r3 for the 6*, he's done wonders for me.

Assuming you don't have many 6* champs ranked, I'd save the gem. R2 won't change anything for you. On the other hand, if you'll take him to r3 after r2 or if you have some resources expiring, he can be your champ to go at that moment. Having some champ ranked should increase amount of fights you can do without any problems

at higher tier wars and bigger content the extra damage and health will come in handy. if you love using a champ then go for it. if you dont like that champ's playstyle then hold on for sometime else unless the resource is expiring

Here is the question you actually have to ask yourself:

Do you find yourself wanting to use him in something but can't because you are using him in some other event? If you find yourself doing that often, then yes having two high-level CGRs is good. If not? you may be better off developing another champ for other content in the game.

1-2 gem... Will be a waste.
The 5* surpasses him in combat power and fate seal. Rank2 will help you with nothing.

In case of R3ing him, that's completely different territory.

With a 6* you can possibly rank him to rank 3 or 4, which could increase his damage potential as well as increase his health.. if you have Knull or Hercules then maybe rank CGR later but he is definitely a top tier champion.

I'll probably wait rn cause he ain't going anywhere. Cause of the special login calender I'll get another 6* next Tuesday, so hopefully it's a new champ I can use the gem on

Basically wait till you can r3 him, you might get Hercules before then, but maybe keep the 1-2 stone up your sleeve till then
