Because people will go for the character's preview bundles, and cavs to try to get him or her to make mole man great again, easy way for Kabam to make $$$

If a new champ gave a synergy to MM to be equal to his current big but there wasn't anything else to that champ, no, people won't go crazy like you suggest.

Kabam has had ample opportunity to do this with many champs and they've not done it. Why would they start.now?

Kabam hasn't acknowledged moleman as bugged nor has touched the champ for a year and a half, why would they start now? Your logic proved wrong by facts.

So all I can say is, it would be advisable for someone from the Kabam team to give an official response, as July deal is coming (at least from what I understand) in less than 2 hours.

People will be open crystals and making decision on who to pick (if they open Nexus) and who to rank up.

The unknown does not help Kabam as a company or players.

Players is not going to spent if they are not clear of the situation.

At the end of the day, it is really worth changing MM from what he is currently like?

He is not breaking the game as he is right now, so why annoy a large of the players base for...well nothing...just going to cost (lose) the company money.

I remember when Ghost Rider wasn't as advertised in the opposite direction (benefited kabam) and instead of fixing what his ability was supposed to be they just left it. So are we going to revisit him and fix that bug?

Dang, I thought it was part of his kit if you entered frenzy before getting to 10 monster mass. I use that all the time.

Can't we just keep him the way he is and update his abilities description?

There's zero reason this "bug" should be fixed rather than just update the description so it states that if Frenzy is activated whilst under 10 Charges, you keep True Sense.

It's that simple. That would definitely be better optics for Kabam at this point rather than the bad faith they have given us the day before one of their biggest deal weekends of the year.

Really disappointed. I ranked him to r3 mainly as a counter to evade champs and always understood rightly or wrongly that you had to enter frenzy mode below 10 monster mass to retain the True accuracy passive. I just don’t understand why after so long change it. I would have maybe r2 him without this mechanic, he has worked the same way since I got him over a year ago.

Kabam how about an upfront list of all the champs currently in the game that are only good cos they are bugged then we all know not to bother wasting time ranking them. This is a major change to how he works to an aspect that has made him desirable to many players.

Agreed. I made one of the first comments on the thread saying the saying thing. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this is being handled appallingly, at the worst possible possible time vis a vis July 4th sales.

The real info we need is whether or not kabam will consider undoing this "bug fix". What the vast majority of the player base wants (except for groundedwisdom and demonzfire who always have a different opinion from everyone else) is that mole man stays as he is now. Easy enough to correct the ability decription to reflect the way he works right now. Meaning he will lose true accuracy if he reaches 10 monster mass. He will keep it if he stays below 10 monster mass. Whether he enters frenzy or not. Easy fix. No gamebreaking bug here. Not a champ that's unbalanced as is. And you spare us summoners the pain and frustration, the feeling of loss and of being robbed we would get from this nerf. After a year and a half that the champ was untouched with no bug acknowledged by kabam.
I have yet to see them intentionally undo a bug fix.

I think the only reason that people are mad is that this one simple change make mole man a Trade utility for damage champ. No one likes those. He could easily have both when he was bugged and yes it was a bug, but it was there for so long that people pretty much considered it in his kit at this point

Kabam jax you came here and said that basically nothing can be done about it for the moment but the matter will be discussed and maybe later mole man will be back to his usual self. It's not much, but it's something. And the way you communicate stuff and the way you approach the matters at hand makes people feel reassured. I wish the change just never went live but seeing that Kabam is actually listening to our voice is good enough right now. Kabam jax easily the best mod.

Very disappointing to me, mole man is one of my favorite champs and doesn't even rate on the scale of broken/op champs in the game. Back in the day it was the same thing with Namor, the rank down ticket is not going the help with the disappointment I feel for what I think many believe was an unnecessary fix after so much time (at least Namor's fix was relatively close to his release).

I usually spend quite a bit on the 4th but due to this annoying fix and the lackluster thronebreaker deals this year, I just feel like my excitement for this game has gone. I'm sure it will return in a few weeks but this year I will be bowing out of spending on the sales. I know whether Kabam gets money from me or not doesn't matter much to them on the grand scale of things but just want to provide my honest feedback. It is a shame because I was actually looking forward to this weekend before being hit with the double-whammy here.

Still love the game, just some of the decisions are really baffling to me. I don't comment much on these forums, only a few times when I feel strongly enough about 2-3 decisions they have made over the last 7 years.

For everyone who is upset that it will go live for July, for patches to be placed on android/apple there is lead/lag time involved. The info has probably already been sent out to both platforms and that info will be the July release. It's too late to change that even if they decide to revert which is clearly under debate at best.

This is ridiculous. I have been playing for 1.5 years and had no clue there was a bug in moleman. I just ranked my 6* from 3-4 a couple weeks ago and use him for that true accuracy. There is no way I can read and understamd over 200 players in a year and a half and understand everything about all champs. I would not have wasted a resource like this if I had any idea a bug/nerf situation was pending.. Kabaam needs to address this especially for players in my situation as it took me forever to get a rank 4 6*. What a mess.

I did not read this thread so forgive my ignorance. But i did just R3 this guy and one of the biggest reason was the true accuracy during frenzy while maintaining less than 10 mass. It was fun to do and so effective. Very dissapointed in the nerf regardless of if it was never intended or not. I dont come here often so I never knew it was a bug which is on me. But it didnt seem game breaking enough where it cant be part of his kit

While y’all communicate and pass along the comments to devs, that does not help us out when release goes live, it’d be nice to recognise that r4 resource and sig stones we’ve used are not easy to come by… bug or no bug I’d appreciate a chance to revert back to what he was or get my resources back to invest in another champ…

This is just plain poor customer service and it continues to show lack of transparency.

Honestly this is just semantics. Given the way that he actually worked, it is certainly possible to read his kit and conclude that as long as he is still below 10 monster mass when frenzy is activated he retains True Accuracy, especially when the wording has not always been as clear as one would like. But regardless, does it matter if we call it a nerf or a bug fix? After the fix, he will not be as good as he has been for well over a year. For all the Mole Man players it is functionally a nerf. The term "bug" is kind of vague in its own right. Is there some sort of glitch that is preventing him from working as intended, or is he functioning exactly as he was designed, and the designers failed to design him the way that he was described? Was there a disconnect between the person who designed him and the one who wrote the description? At the end of the day, who cares? Players asked for clarification and didn't get any. The way that he worked made sense with the description in his kit, even if it isn't the most obvious way to read the description. He worked that way for about a year and a half. Players will now have a champ that no longer functions in a way that made some love and use the champ. Call it a nerf or don't call it a nerf, but the end result is the same as a nerf.

I've been using a r3 moleman for like a year and didn't even know about this bug. I just didn't frenzy when I needed true accuracy. His character sheet specifically says he can't have both at once. So to me, this change is no change at all, and Molegod is still Molegod.

I'm pointing out that there should have been no question about it, really. That's how he was intended to work. People knew it enough to post and ask. They also knew it enough to stop asking. This whole "that's how he has worked" argument is moot. Anyone who used him pre-buff was aware of this. Broken is broken, and we can't pick and choose what bugs get fixed based on how we want to benefit from them.

Very bad form for them to do this. Should just change the description to fit what the champion has been doing. Would make the players happy.

He isn't game breaking and we love him as he is now. Fix one of a ton of other issues the players AREN'T happy about instead. Seems like a winning strategy to me. Stop pissing off your customers, kabam.

It’s really unfortunate to see thousands of players frustrated because there is a champ that they love and who got justice when buffed is now getting nerfed. I understand it’s a bug fix but weighing the amount of negative emotions from that “fix” vs how people were satisfied with his previous state and how much they will be satisfied if that fox is reverted makes the decision to revert it more beneficial. That will increase the satisfaction of the player base and makes us feel listened to. Specially that he was not broken or anything. Please listen to us and don’t let us down
