Stuck on progression

Hello everyone,
Should I R4 5 * diablo or Immortal Abomination?
I hope to get your insight on what to do or change instead. This is my first time of attempting the uncollected quest and kind of worried not being able to get the 5 *. I'm having trouble with the Spite node that is on the last quest of this monthly event.
Currently running:
Red Mags, Void, BWCV, Herc, Diablo.
Any help would be appreciated!
