First time Abyss completion advice

As per abyss guides path 1 is the easiest path, so I'll be taking that path

My current team:
6* rank 3 Odin OR 5* rank 5 sig 200 Aegon OR 5* rank 5 sig 200 Stryfe (I know he relies quite a bit on an entire mutant team, but if he works by himself, I don't mind using him)
5* rank 5 Nick Fury
5* rank 5 Torch
5* r5 Magneto
5* r5 Sym Supreme or 6* rank 3 sig 60 Doom

What would be a good team for first time completion. I am really comfortable with using Odin and Stryfe and I know they are capable of doing most fights. I absolutely hate Aegon's ramp up and I tend to mess up a lot. Are Odin and Stryfe any good against the collector? I do understand aegon is the best counter for him but I have neither the patience nor the experience with him and really do not like using him. I do not mind using a few more revives with Odin/Stryfe than with Aegon if it means that they can still beat the collector

I run 4/5 MD and I understand Doom is generally considered to be better for Abyss in general, but what about Path 1? Is Sym more viable?

Stryfe is amazing against the collector, however when i used him my first go he was really frustrating towards the end without cable on my team, id recommend aegon over stryfe however if you hate aegon that much pick the one you want as they are both good, as for doom vs sym supreme for the easy path its generally said that sym does better than doom, however with yours being a 6 star rank 3 doom its hard to say which one would be better, if i were you id go personal preference on which one you like

May I know why using stryfe was frustrating without cable (I know they have the synergy that lets him start with 5 charges but did not having that really make that much of a difference?)? Also did you use stryfe with apoc and prof x synergies or just by himself?

Stryfe with apoc and professor X is who i used, it was frustrating because towards the end of the collector any hit with stryfe gave him unstoppable and without any charges he couldnt remove them with cable however he would be able to remove it right away and let you get alot more hits in

i dont know if my comment got deleted or what happened but, it was annoying because stryfe couldnt remove the unstoppable from the collector right away and basically any hit would trigger it, so cable allowed me to remove it and get alot more hits in

Ah alright, that makes sense. What was your team like for completion?

for completion i had doom stryfe professor X apoc and white mags, my stryfe and prof X were r3 and my apoc and doom were 5 stars, wags was there for professor X synergy and his pre fights
collector was painful, didnt have enough potions so it was like 80 revives

my next path i brought cable prof X white mags apoc and stryfe, but the collector went down in like 3 revives, the path as a whole was 20-25 revives so farm a ton of potions because it significantly cuts down the cost
