Carina challenges

The Carina challenges are something that Kabam introduced that was supposed to be a fun challenge for Thronebreaker players, except it's not, most of them are extremely tedious and require revives no matter how skilled you are, the rol challenges for instance are pretty easy, only issue is why am I doing fights that can be 15 minutes each for a crystal that doesn't even guarantee something good, then there's the Labrinth challenges, just why, and then we get to act 6 challenges, the Cyclops one makes no sense, alot of people haven't even done some of these Carina challenges because of this, the least tedious Carina challenge is probably the rol robot one and even then it took a long time, I know alot of people are probably gonna disagree for whatever reason but you can't deny my points

    It's crazy that Kabam makes a challenging piece of content made for people who want the challenge and lets those who aren't interested skip it. That's so unacceptable!!!

    People are completely disregarding my points, eternity of pain is a challenge that's fun and not tedious, Carina's challenges are the most tedious thing in the game, they don't require skill at all because you have to use revives no matter what and they're usually just easy challenges that take way to long

    And “fun” is not a measurable factor because everyone’s idea of “fun” is subjective. What you find “fun” I might heavily dislike, and the reverse is true.

    I had fun in every carina challange.
    F2p with 100% carinas.

    3* rol fun
    3* act5 fun

    5* act6, fun
    Even kamala vs champion was fun.
    Grandmaster with Gulk fun.

    4* canadian, extremely fun
    4* starlord, not that fun but still interesting.
    4* inhumans, Karnak and dusa, fun.

    Mutants abyss, extremely fun

    The only lethargic challenge I felt was carina's challengers. Extremely long and tedious, Less fun but felt great afterwards.

    All these to get r4, fun.
    Lots of catalysts, fun
    Lots of gold, fun

    For me, challanging content is always fun.
    Champion pulls from rewards, unfun disappointing.

    The issue is alot of the Carina challenges aren't difficult, they just require revives and units, I don't see how anyone would find the Cyclops challenge fun, or the ægon and Inhumans challenge

    The abyss ones took some prep work for, but were reasonable enough.

    The labyrinth ones... not fun at all. They may as well have just said: pay us 3000 units, get these rewards. In many ways they were like the cyclops challenge, but at least that one only took an hour or so to complete, and therefore was bearable.

    Sometimes it's fun doing things that are stupid hard, especially if someone has done everything else in the game. Sure, most cost a lot of revives/units, but part of the challenge is resource management. If you don't have the patience for these admittedly tedious challenges, don't do them. I think they serve their purpose in the game, and I'm happy to have them.

    In both batches they had 3 enjoyable challenges (3* in rol), 3 doable in reasonable amount of resources (act 5 or 6, I don't remember) and 3 bs (aol with limited roster). Just don't do the aol/lol challenges, it's easy not to do them. I'm not going to as well

    I can deny your points.

    They’re supposed to provide end game players challenging content outside of the usual story/AOL etc.

    No where did Kabam once say these are supposed easy. If you don’t like them you don’t have to do them - especially with rank 4 mats becoming increasingly available.
    Except it's not challenging, it's just hit opponent 300 times and use resources to revive. How is that challenging?
    Ever heard of endurance challenges? Challenges come in various forms. That’s why it is labelled as a “challenge”. Just because something doesn’t fit your preconceived notion of a “challenge” doesn’t make it any less of a “challenge”.

    Isn’t “who can farm most revives” a challenge as well? 😂

    But seriously though, I didn’t find the ”of Legends” challenges fun but just slogged through them.

    Not a big deal tbh. Just have to do them once. Revives are free to farm and given in 4H crystals anyway.
