Captain marvel movie charges question

Why does she start gaining charges like crazy when inflicted with some damage over time debuffs (like shock, incinerate), but doesnt gain any from others, like bleeding, and maybe other DoT debuffs (bleed is the only one i noticed)

She gains them because they are energy damage. The others are physical damage.

Whenever she takes energy damage, she gains a charge. Shock, incinerate cold snap, etc, all real energy damage. So within about 10 seconds, you’re at max charges
