opened 8 6* basics - i need some advice

so I ranked 2 diablo gonna r3 him when i get eop rewards.
I was planning on ranking up stryfe as well would go well with my apoc and all
but I read his sig ability and it seems like his saving up charges can only be done when he is awakened and as well high sig for more effectiveness
so basically I at the very least need to awaken him to get him to do long form content like gauntlet or abyss right?

It’s actually less relevant for long form content where you will be banking charges via the sp3. It’s more important for short form content where you can kill the opponent before getting to an sp3

no they do not count otherwise it would be too broken I guess

ive got my stryfe rank 4 and personally i hated him for short content when he was unduped, but duped hes great for it, long content doesnt really make a difference though
