What we know so far about relics? That it will be introduced first as rewards in battlegrounds

Any idea what will they look like? Like say a relic description is "increase regen by 40%" if so will the relics be champion specific or can we use them on any champ?
Will the relic work everywhere except battleground?
We know very few things about them so just curious. Any of you have any idea?

    Please no relics. The current "system" is fine as it is.

    I’m assuming usable by any champ

    One screen in BGS (which I don’t have) shows attacker buffs.
