Hello Kabam,
I’m just a random Paragon summoner.
I have no stake in the training grounds at all, but as a longtime player of this game, I can’t help but notice the potential of something like Training Grounds and what it could do for Beginner, Intermediate, and Pro players.
I see beginners learning the ropes and playing new mock fights that show them the next level they need to achieve. Sure, you may say story content does that, but when you can practice before taking on the challenge and wasting energy, it makes a world of difference.
Intermediate players (between starting Act 4 and starting Act 6.2) could get that more challenging AI timing down, become accustomed to those more formidable node combos, and truly grasp what it means to intercept. It could be a game changer for when they take on the Collector for the first time and help get them ready for their next real challenge.
Pro players should then be able to choose their node combinations while also being able to take on those bosses you know they will have a hard time fighting *cough The Champion cough*. It could also help YouTubers not to have to take whole paths to showcase the effectiveness of champions and allow summoners to have some fun with these bosses after the stress of initially taking them down.
I believe that this game has a learning curve that centers around “Git Gud” and “Keep failing, you’ll get it.” That’s how most of us learned. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a better way in 2022/2023 cause I know you are working on so many things to improve the game as you read this but retake a look and see how you could improve the QOL of all summoners in the game and help them find that love for the game in a small but significant improvement.
