Spider Gwen evading venom

Just had spider Gwen evade venom. Map 7 path 4 section 1 turn the tide modifier. She shouldn't be evading as she is tagged spider verse hero. Is anyone else noticing this? Should I contact support? Wanted to come here to see if this was an issue anywhere else before I submitted a ticket to kabam.

You need kylntar buff, the one with venom symbol, without it spidey can evade. You can read it on venom abilites so it not a bug

Secondly, spider gwen can nullify true strike

As for OG Spidey, agree, you need to make sure your Venom still has his Klyntar buff active to prevent OG Spidey from evading.

But poster is asking specifically about Spider Gwen, who (also agree) can ignore the sentence above and still evade, even if Venom still has his Klyntar.

    So, not a bug.

Why would Gwen evade if venom has klybtar?

Wouldn’t Gwen simultaneously remove the buff (treated as a true strike buff ?) and evade all at once ? (just going by what people have said that she ignores Venom, assuming that is how it works internally, since she nullifies true strike buff when attacked).

So you might not be able to tell in advance (looking for the Klyntar buff) prior to attacking her (if indeed that's why it doesn’t work)

Nahh. Gwen only nullifies true strike buff. She can't nullify klyntar. You can use venom just as usual

Ok, well can’t believe that all the cases of posts up here about Gwen have been instances with “Buffet” node for her (which would be why Klyntar is being removed).

Just thought there has been more talk relative to her that OG Spider still doing evade.

Is that similar to that Turn the Tide modifier, or does that AQ Map 7, sect.1, path.4 have Buffet (regardless of modifier) ?
