Having issues with map 6 fights with white magneto section 3

Every time I fight these section 3 nodes with Nerves of Steel / cascading failure modifier and I’m having issues with Degeneration right off the bat. First hit or 2nd hit of the fight and I degen, always after 1-2 hits. it’s usually against xbones or taskmaster with white magneto. I left the fight, reopened the app and used archangel and it was fine.

Is there some issue with White Magneto and the node combination? (White mag did not use charge, white mag at 10 charges)
