Officers need an in game chat area, to privately discuss alliance management

A private chat area in game just for officers would help tremendously to those who don’t use outside chat apps.

Agree completely. This would be great.

That said, the whole in game chat system needs an overhaul, and I doubt that it's a priority.

A year after what I can see is the most recent post about this topic, and I'd like to raise it up again. There are many times we have to discuss member issues, game strategy, alliance goals, etc. and right now we all have to send individual DMs to each other. It seems like it would be a relatively easy feature to add and one that would help alliance leaders in a huge way. By the way, we know a lot of alliances use third party apps for communication but our alliance is semi-retired so there is not enough alliance-wide conversations to mandate it, some of our officers prefer not to use these apps and why should we when it should be part of the game interface. Why have a global chat room and not have one where officers can communicate?

Officers need their own Line to have a Discord amongst themselves.

With how limited and restrictive the in game chat is, why would anyone want a chat area in game when there are literally dozens of more readily accessible and dependable social media options. If officers can't manage themselves and arrange for a Discord or Line chat, you have issues that an expanded in-game chat feature won't alleviate.
