Why don’t bg matches count in BG? They use energy and/or units to participate in.

Hero Use typically ignores competitive Game Modes like AW/AQ as to not encourage a player to alter who they might use in a fight. Makes far more sense for the Class Combat Events than Hero Use specifically but I believe this is why.
