Apoc not able to become a Horseman???

in Bugs and Known Issues
I am running the 5* & 6* Apoc, in the Cav EQ, and...trying to make the 6* a Horseman, but when I apply the Horseman ability and go into the fight with my 6*, the Horseman abilities does not show up. Is this a bug or can he not become one now??

    Apoc applies the horseman ability to other mutants, I don't think he can apply it to himself
