Why can't I see white mags pre fight ability?

I have the charges and everything and I need him for Ultron boss. Is it because he's a 2*?

I do I tap his thing on and off of him it doesn't even show the ability thing for me

But after testing it looks like the 2* is bugged and not able to use prefight’s.
