EoP - Dragonman - Degeneration

I play with suicide masteries and tried the EoP Dragon Man with Falcon and Doom. As soon as the fight starts, the degeneration also starts, WITHOUT any hit and so no armor-break debuff.
Am I missing something ?

you apply armour break when you parry
