Battlegrounds visual bugs?

I have been playing battlegrounds and for the past couple days I am not getting visual signals I'm used to. It appears to be working correctly but visually I can't tell when certain things are happening. Like Torch having flame on, ghost actually phasing or kitty pride phasing. I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I've tried restarting and re-installing my game.
