Why this side quest is The worst of all? Constructive feedback

The reasons being-

1. The best rewards are guarded by RNGesus.
2. Energy cost is there.
3. Can do only 1 difficulty
4. Objectives, u have to find specific champions each day in some story or duels u cant practice them.

All of the undesirable qualities of side quest that received negative feedback in past is combined in this sq.

Clearly the worst sq of all to me.

well no, it actually doesn't give you choice of reward. if you run the side quest every day, you'll get everything in the store. you're just choosing what reward you get first. and seriously, you like having a champ to search for? wouldn't you rather just get a key in the calendar every day and not have to go searching for a champ?

Honestly this feels like the rock bottom of all side quest. Even as far as the candy store itself. The rewards are just very weak as far as I'm concerned. Then add in everything @The_man001 said, this is easily one of the worst side quests in recent memory. I just don't even understand how this got approved or pushed though. It's lazy and uninspiring.

Exactly it's crazy how this sq even got approved for release

The main thing for me is that I think it’s high time we had a gate in the store for at the very least TB, ideally one for TB and one for Paragon

I understand it can’t be done immediately necessarily, but I hope it’s something that’s being worked on in the background.

I haven’t run thru the side quest yet and definitely hate the idea of solving a riddle to find out who we have to fight to get a daily objective , but there’s no way this months side quest is worse than the trials of the Panther from 3 years ago that was so tuned up that they were harder than EQ or last years two moth side quest that was so unnecessarily complex and tedious.

Being constructive, you run out of credibilty when you call something "the worst of all time" just because it's inconvenient for you.

Think of it as 30 loaded cav crystals with better odds, 90% for a 3* but 10% for something really good.

I...actually kind of like this Rift? I don't like them in general for several reasons and most of those reasons are still present, but one of the main things that frustrated me so incredibly much last time around was that the rewards weren't geared toward endgame players in the slightest. It just felt like you slogged through it and, hey, you got the top prize - 2K 6* shards! Woo?

Now, the top prize is significantly increased. 6* AGs! Amazing! The chances of getting one are ridiculously low, but they're at least there. That's something. I am finally interested in the stuff in the Rift, and that's actually pretty huge compared to how utterly bored and disinterested I was last time.

I wouldn't have minded if the chance of getting some of these top-tier rewards were a bit more dependent on progression, though. Maybe 1% for Cavs, 2,5% for TBs and 5% for Paragons?

Actually, no I wouldn't. There's something to be said for mystery, and it's quite enjoyable to network with other Players to share answers. I play the game to be challenged in all sorts of ways, including the mind. Not just to test my arthritis.

I see where you're coming from, but I think only half if it is successful.

Trivia can be a form of challenge.
Being able to answer Who? to the the objective is good. It can be answered by yourself (a win for your knowledge of Marvel trivia), or it can be answered by the community (a win for collaboration).

But then having to ask Where? is not really successful. If the Duel search function was better, it would be alright, but since the search function is not that good, it makes it more burdensome. Finding out that, for example, Thanos is in 3.2.6 is not a satisfying thing to know. You have to go through the effort of completing the entire quest, just to fulfill this objective.

The community is quite knowledgeable, whether in-game, or on the Forum, or Line/Discord, even Goolge can be useful. There's usually someone that knows a Duel Target.

You don't see any possible reason why the operator of a massively multiplayer game might include content that would encourage content creators to make videos explaining the content, encourage community members to discuss the content, and reward players who seek out other members of the community to ask for help with the content?

Yeah, might as well just hand everything out to everyone for no effort. Can't imagine any possible benefit for all of that nonsense.

Agreed - while slightly inconvenient, the objectives this month are much better than mindlessly fighting over and over to complete an objective like in previous months.

Feedback unclear: November side quest will give RDTs to players who die after taking the left path, and compensation packages to players who die after take the right path, but players must quit the game to collect rewards.

I think the RNG of the rift would be ok if the store was actually good. But honestly it’s so meh for TB let alone Paragon players. Maybe Kabam are worried about the level if resources in the game with the battleground store and that’s why this side event is so bad for paragon players. I’ll probably still do it, but not excited by this one at all.
