"View Eligible Champions" to rank is broken

I have a few rank up gems. In this first screenshot I select the 2017 rank up gem for 3->4 of a 5 star champ:

When I view eligible champions I see champions of all star levels and ranks, that are available to be ranked up:

It’s always been this way. I hope Kabam changes it at some point because it could be a very useful button but instead it does nothing

It was working for me prior to the latest update. I had another 2017 rank up gem and the filter actually showed only rank 3, 5 star champs from 2017. I used it on Taskmaster
