What happened to Match Points in Battlegrounds?

What happened to Match Points in Battlegrounds? It's so hard for someone with an average roaster to collect all solo event rewards without Match Points since we don't have the roaster to win a good chunk of matches.

Make Battlegrounds more inclusive and entraining. What's a point to play them if you only win 1-2 out of 5.
