BG rewards wrong, no cheaters banned

Looks like no modders were banned in BG top 100. What a joke. Ended same score shown at end with dozens of modders above me should have been in a higher bracket. This sucks. Why even play this game mode

500 k global PI in leaderboard, how is it even possible to get to gladiator circuit with accounts like that

This is quite disappointing, we were told again and again, cheaters will show up on the leaderboard even when banned, but we kept facing modders in BGs and they stayed on the leaderboard. Now they're included in the ranked rewards, it's hard to take reassurances that the modding tools are working when people can take fights in 3 seconds and stay on the leaderboard in the top 100.

I'd really appreciate some sort of explanation here, if it's a time issue then take longer to look through the leaderboard to ban the modders, but right now it's encouraging modding, because if there's no punishement for modders in the top 10, there's no deterrent to stop others.

There are multiple proof of modders modding SINCE BETA, still not banned. I was in celestial V and got Celestial V rewards while I was easily expecting to get at least Celestial IV since most of the ones ahead of me were proven MODDERS.

Kabam did absolutely nothing, such a shame going into Season 2...

naw man. there are obvious modders. thousands of screenshots with obviosu mod wins and none of those accounts got bans

My ranking is the same before and after even though accounts directly above me were already banned. They however were not removed from the leaderboard. Kabam messed up big time.

Will be worse next season as they buff Gladiator Rewards. More modders will be coming for them.

I was 57th Global when there were 5 minutes left of Bgs. I came 58th global in the rewards that just came out. There were 10 or so people i personally faced who were modding (not that I suspect of modding. Were modding. You cannot take R4 defenders in 10 seconds), KT says the same, Bero Man says the same.

Maybe no modders were banned in the top 100 and tons everywhere, but surely that's the most important place to ban them? Otherwise it sends a message to other modders that it's ok to reach the top. If it were me, I'd focus all my effort on the top 100.

Regardless, this is something I believe Kabam should comment on. BG is the most competetive game mode ever released, and needs the highest scrutiny on modding, because it's so evident and demoralising.

I was kinda waiting to see what happened with the leaderboard. I know finding modders can be hard, so I could maybe understand why they didn’t find them during the event. But to just take a couple days looking through and then not ban anyone above me, who I knew were modding. That is not promising at all.

I’m trying to hold any too negative comments back until we hear from Kabam’s end, about why this may have happened. But at the moment its inviting in more modding - unless I’ve read this situation wrong.

This is the game mode which gets the most scrutiny. If modding is running rampant and unpunished in BG, can you imagine other game modes

Honestly, you dont even care for our efforts/money/hours we spend at that game?

For start, modders should be band DURING season every day because pur rankings fall.
But not even ban them after season ends? That’s unbelievable.

There are players modding SINCE BETA, it's not acceptable that they are still not banned after hundreds of reports and screenshots and they are finishing fights in less than 15 seconds.

I don't know what to think...but I don't want to go into S2 like this.

I agree, I was at 500+ and got matched against modders on the last few matches, dropped down to 400+; not only that, I got top 50 rewards knowing I deserved much more. This is frustrating.

What do u mean? I have 528k pi and I went in gladiator circuit very easily. Victory tracks were giving me matches with players who has comparable roster with mine.

To me, I'm not that disappointed about the rewards, ok 5 or so extra sigs would have been nice, but I can live without it. What I'm worried about is the message it sends to modders if you can end in the top 100 and stay unbanned, when Glad Circuit rewards are buffed, those two factors may well make modding much worse.

They took roughly 48 hrs & seems like no modders have been banned
What can I say except "I'm disappointed but not at all surprised"

Yeah, I was stressing the regular part 😁 and in steel's case, it's very regular!

Maybe for you but kabam designed it that way that everyone will have fair chance to reach gladiators circuit and the real competition will begin after reaching gladiators circuit (where I won only 2 out of the 17 matches I played).

Could not agree more; personally, this is almost as big an issue as modders.

How is that problem for you. Modders are winning games and acquiring higher positions and therefore legitimate players are getting lower positions which means less rewards. How is it similar to someone who has a less strong account matching with similar accounts? Does me reaching in gladiators circuit took any awards from you?

@Diplodocus people with much stronger accounts than yours couldn’t reach gladiator circuit as they were facing much stiffer competition.

As they have implied BG will have the most powerful rewards, you will qualify for them and he will not.

It’d be like having college football teams make the NFL playoffs without ever having faced an NFL caliber team. Sure they’d lose first round but how would that be fair to NFL teams who did not qualify?
