Can KABAM update arena rewards now that 7* have been announced?

I feel we need to update the arena rewards to achieve the 6* champion. The arena has not been updated since the it was created. Now that 7* champions have been announced, it makes sense to have more opportunities to these rewards. It appears the 6* shards are now more plentiful and easier to achieve with current meta of game. Although, with bots not being 100% eliminated in arenas, there needs to be a change. 3* & 4* champions are basically phased out for Seasoned summoners and are only used for specific or special events.

Top 1000 at least and yes I’m may sounds crazy but almost all top 100 is non legit or top 20 isn’t more that’s bot or merc running accounts

Dude, 7*s won’t be available until Spring 2023. Even then, you’re acting as if 7* shards will be as easily available as 6* shards. If you can’t make top 100, then you can’t.

The problem with this is you paint yourself acting childish “oh I can’t have this, please give me more ways to get it” and it doesn’t work out

Actually arenas were changed up summer of 2021. So it has had changes. Thats why we now have the 2 6* arenas

@Siliyo I do achieve 6* arena champs and have grinded arena for last 6 years. Back when 4* where top tier and Yellow jacket was my first rewarded champ. Lol

I also think they can remove the 3* champ and add in the 5* champ as a reward.Makes no sense anymore to grind 50 mil for a 5*

@SamuraiGerrie I would agree as there is no need to have the 3* in rewards as they will not be used except for special events. With the new 7* Meta, the 5* has lost a little of its luster. Thanks for voting!!

You could advocate for more 6* shards in the arenas as a consequence of 7* champions arriving - when they actually arrive - but increasing the rank range doesn't (only) increase the amount of 6* champions people can get, it increases the ability to target specific ones directly. The arrival of 7* champs doesn't make targeting specific 6* champs less valuable, as it will take some time for 7* champs to supercede the utility of 6* champs.

That is the goal of arenas. Targeting the champs and scoring high enough to achieve the reward. If the range is increased, nor summoners will be rewarded the 6* champion.

I am also assuming in 2023 early access bundles will eventually have 7* possibility for specific champions. Maybe with a 6* guaranteed for paragon status. This is an assumption, but today you buy the access bundle and receive the 5* guaranteed. This would be even more of a reason to increase the range in arenas to acquire a 6*

Don’t care for an update to the top rewards for 6* champs but can they add a T5B arena by now? We’re like 2 years late but it’s still needed

@Etm34 I would agree that enough time has passed for that to occur. I honestly feel arena is forgotten about sometimes because people have a love/hate relationship with it. You either grind arenas or do not grind arenas. Lol

How update more 6* shards for events like summoner advancement? If you can put up over a mil in SA, around 800-1000 6* shards would be nice between the milestone and rank rewards.

Arenas do need updated. Some of the ideas mentioned here are really good. Considering you can “potentially” buy up to 120000 6 star shards a month in the battle grounds store, we should be able to see an increase in shards in the arenas that wouldn’t break the game.
Also it would be cool to see updated catalyst arenas including t5b and T5cc. Last thing maybe a increase to the gold win per match in the featured arena. Right now you get 450 per round and maybe it could go to 750 or something.
As for Increasing the top 100 rewards to top 200 I think this is a good idea. I think Kabam makes a a decent chunk of change off of the refreshes but there should be a increased number for the top rank that still keeps arenas competitive yet increases accessibility.

Need milestones to drop more shards and iso IMO. Battlechips are great but I grind all arenas to max milestone and levelling up champs is an issue. Especially iso wise

@MrSakuragi this would be the intent of the increase in my opinion. I’d hope bots would not be as big a a threat in arena scores if the range was increased over the 100 rank. That would also give legitimate grinders the opportunity to achieve 6* and also more opportunity for Kabam to sort out the bots at their own pace. Thanks for your opinion! That is all the brackets rewards that must be reviewed! The rank rewards are poor regarding the needs of the players that reach each of them.

Hmmmmmm….. it was better than we all expected. Lol. Thanks to everyone thy help push this up the ladder from back in Oct 2022. Big shout out to the positive feedback and even the negative ones. It was time and a lot of us knew changes were coming.
