In-game (2) Notification has now shifted over to Forums here

A few days after the in-game bug showing (2) on bottom right had finally been resolved.
And now I’m getting a persistent (2) in my Forum Notifications here.

I can click on that icon, and it will go away, UNTIL I go to a post, or refresh the browser page. Then the (2) will come back.

If I actually have say 3 real/new Notifications, it will show (5). But after viewing them, refreshing the page it resumes to showing (2) on that icon again.

Been that way since yesterday evening. After overnight, including turning device Off/On, as well as logging out of Forum and logging back in, the (2) problem still happening for me in Forum here today.

Anyone else ??

This afternoon, the (2) Notification in Forum here just went up to (4).

It was still just (2) earlier today, but now on any Forum page refreshing it is at (4).

(and I’ve even tried clicking into every notification, and even every post that had updated (new comment) # on them. Didn’t help resolve it)

Has been (4) for several weeks, and just now it bumped up to (5) persistent notifications here in Forums.

Problem might be it's counting a notification from someone who is “Forum Jailed” (all their Posts and Comments no longer visible, but they can still try to do a reply in a post, it just won’t show up).

If they do that in a post you have commented in (or created), their Notification (including Name and Time) does appear in your FULL Notification List. But in the abbreviated “Drop-Down” list of most recent 5, that one does NOT show as part of the 5 (you would only have 4 drop-downs that show instead, until further ones come in from other people)

So the latest persistent Notification count # is because of this “jailed” person having just commented in a post I have been part of.
That is probably why the original (2), and then later (4) were happening too.

This (persistent jailed notifications) is something that just started happening last month. Several other people have commented either here or other posts saying same thing having Persistent's that won’t go away.

Click the world icon, let the menu open, then refresh the page using the browser refresh button. Works for me @World Eater

Greetings. I tried what you suggested, but no luck for me. Still have 5 (old) notifications showing. Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.
