Battlegrounds, is it working as intended?

after winning the second round, instead of showing me the waiting screen with the point system shown. i was left with 70 seconds of just blank results until the player finished his match.
then when we were sent to picking champs for round 3, after confirming champs, that screen was then again placed instead of the pre lobby before entering the fight
i stayed in that lobby to see if it was happening to the opponent, but it was not. he was able to complete the match and won while i had to sit back and not even get the chance to play.
like title suggests... are we supposed to be seeing these types of bugs still? or was this a questionable player cheating?
do we get answers for these or do we send a ticket?
