He never was. Blade was always able to bypass his regeneration phase. It might be a bug

I guess to be fair it states in Blades AAR it bypasses immunities so get him

Is it just that you’re getting crit failure or are abilities with 100% chance to trigger failing? Because not all of mephisto’s abilities have a 100% chance to trigger

This is it here. Crit fail doesn't require an ability not triggering due to AAR. He has a percentage chance to proc aura on blocked hits iirc so any time that doesn't trigger you will get crit fail even though her AAR can't reduce that chance.
