What nodes does Galan's Harvest damage ignore?

I just went up against Rage node and Galan's damage should technically ignore that, right? Since it isn't "hit damage" as explicitly mentioned in the node description.
So is this a bug or working as intended? Also which other nodes does his harvest damage ignore?
