MARVEL-lous Matchmaking

I know it's the war rating that matters but other factors should also have some sort of weight in deciding matches

Should't allow such alliances to drop their rating at whim, only to trample everyone on their way back up

Hero rating means absolutely nothing. War is only fought using 5 defenders and 3 attackers. Anyone else beyond that is immaterial.

People shouldn't be acting like there is no difference between a Master alliance & a Plat alliance
And it's not just a Master alliance, but a max prestige Master alliance occupying No. 1 spot in the game in terms of hero rating

And while the Hero rating doesn't matter too much in war, having the biggest possible rosters does matter
Having biggest rosters in the world opens up possibilities of having all possible counters for whatever defense the opponents have set, while also reducing the attacking counters that the opponents might have for their defense which not just includes the best possible defenders, but also all newer champs at R4 Sig200

Being number one alliance in the game is a big deal
And No. 1 shouldn't be competing with No. 675

This is not their usual war rating
They are regularly at top of the table every season but probably decided to take it slow last season making them drop tiers, or may be they got dropped due to some shady stuff which they were once infamous for

Whatever the reason for their drop may be, fact of the matter is that this war rating is not an actual representation of what their war rating should be & the level at which they usually compete

Good thing is that we aren't sulky about this match
Got a similar one last season as well & it's something that we've come to expect these days
I was actually excited to see this bcoz I wanted to see how some of us perform in this situation
But it's just preferable when alliances are competing at a more even footing

Last I checked, pointing out something that seems unfair isn't the same as sulking about it
I actually enjoy such wars but would definitely prefer this in off season

Everyone knows that many alliances use the break to lose as many wars as possible, to lower their rating before the next season.

The same alliances also consist of people who think sandbagging in BG is perfectly fine.

They are just manipulating the system, because they aren't good enough to play with the big guys anyways…

You can't lower your rating in off-season in tiers 1-5. NY just hasn't pushed war in probably over a year at this point.
