How do you like the new AQ changes?

I personally think the paragon store is a nice upgrade. Adding rank four materials was long overdo.
What are your comments/concerns?

Pros:
-better rewards (glory store)
-new opponents
-better rewards exploration etc…
Cons:
-still no change to the format. This was probably the #1 request from players. Moving to a 3 or even 4 day cycle. Apparently this fell on deaf ears….. again
-rewards are still not worth the time investment
-same boring thing every day
-no glory cap increase
-outdated revive and healing potions with much larger health pools… again
-no removal of ticket system
-seems to be forcing people to go higher in maps, which also ties into the time commitment required for AQ. It just isn’t worth it

I wonder how this would apply to Knull, Angela etc. Champs that apply a large number of armour breaks all at once.

What’s with the 5% t5cc crystal for paragons…it should at least be a 5% selector or a 10% crystal

The paragon store seems nice with the R4 materials. I still think the T5B cost is too high compared to the T2A cost. I feel like they almost never get the T5B to T2A ratio correct when it comes to rewards.

I did initially dislike the update, but we are going from getting 1 1/2 T5B a week to now 5 t5b a week and 10 t2a, which is huge, I do agree the gold issue and time issue needs to be addressed buts it better than nothing, and as for the time spent in aq its a whole lot more valuable now.

Edit: I love how we now have the option to get a small amount of r4 mats (5%) for ppl who are on the edge of a r4. that's huge IMO

Agree. A week long is way to much commitment. Fact is it’s redundant, stale, and game mode needs to be shortened or ideally replaced all together.

A glory store update was the minimum that could’ve been done and that’s what they did. The glory store should’ve been at this level months ago, but I guess we can’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Eliminating the map crystals is a bad precedent. They were intended to have value and did have value for a time when they were introduced. Kabam should not be touting the fact they’ve been so woefully neglected as to become trivial as a reason for their removal.

I just noticed honour rewards are basically the same, for modifiers every day they definitely deserve more than 6% of a t5b that a top 800 alliance is getting right now.

Quite possibly the worst update to AQ that I've ever witnessed. There's nothing that makes the mode attractive to play. Map 8 w/modifiers is going to be worse than AW and you can only still buy 2 9.5k health pots a day.

You can't revive more than 4k without spending units.

You're forced to make a choice of either using Glory for pots/revs or units and will pretty much everyone playing map 8, we're all using R4's with large health pools.

The very least they could have done is add 40% team revs to the glory store.

They need to get rid of the ticket system or lower the cost of using resources to get 150 tickets per cycle.

Just an absolute garbage update.

Agree. Worst AQ update ever. Why play map 8. Already got a good deal of R4 and my gold stash is getting lower each week. Not giving out any kind of T6CC material is a major failure. Can't see any reason to do Map 8. Rewards are not worth it.

Rewards look decent but it’s still hella expensive to run Map 8 and that just disincentivises players from running it. There’s a reason that half of the masters/p1 alliances run map5 instead of map 8 right now.

i don't see any boss updates for Map 8 at all in the announcement. only Maps 1-7

Glory store update is nice but with the cost and such of running the higher maps, can't see that either of the alliances I'm apart of, are going to actually try and push any higher than we already are. Reward is not worth the cost. We make enough glory alone as a top 300 alliance doing map 6.
