What's the deal with the IMIW buff?

The beta for the IMIW buff was supposed to start this month but I've not heard anything on it. Does anyone have any info they can share?

Takes a while to get plasmas on the opponent, damage payoff isn’t worth the lengthy set up (compared to similar DOT champs like Silver Centurion), plasmas can fall off quickly if AI is passive.

As pointed out above his damage over time effects aren't where they should be and since they only had time to do a value only update, his was a lot easier to do than trying to fit in a rework and for the record, even if you were suggest that somebody else should have gotten the buff first, it still would have only been someone who needs a value only update since they were only going off of the time constraints they have.

We got a pretty solid rework of Rocket Raccoon like two weeks ago, plus really good reworks of Storm and Juggernaut this year. I’m pretty sure older champs are also getting love, just not at the rate you’d like.

The dev team said it many times, even Kabam Mike even used Rhino as an example of someone who if you just wanted a numbers bump, could be ready to go within a month or so but if you want a rework with either new mechanics, utility or especially new animations, that takes time.

You can disagree with everyone telling you what you don't want to hear but it doesn't change the fact that you can't get what you want in a weekend with hardcore dedication and maybe the occasional bathroom break. This ain't Twitter!

Because people were expecting some kind of reverse 12.0 where suddenly all of the Old Guard that got nerfed to the ground suddenly get magically restored to their pre 12.0 State and Beyond because they thought any mobile game that is almost 10 years old can be magically fixed of all its bugs if you hit control Z.

More great buffs in February and March of 2021 than all of 2022, it really sucks.

Didn't they already say there's no December buff this year? Also, America and Gor are getting tune ups which were announced.

I'm pretty convinced the psycho man and nova buffs literally took all of 5 minutes.

On a side note, I am tired of people complaining about not buffing the "og champs" when plenty of og champs have already been buffed like the magnetos, gamora, rocket, joe fixit, storm, hulkbuster, colossus, antman, ogbp, ddhk, luke cage, juggs, war machine, spidergwen, ultron, thor jane foster, venom, yellowjacket, hawkeye (did i forget any lol)

"OG champs" doesn't mean any random old champs. People are talking about Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor, Wolverine. The big name, well recognized Marvel characters they released to get people to play the game when it first came out and now continue to release new versions of while the originals still suck.

IMIW, he is a defender, he is weak as an attacker, nobody uses it. He does need a buff, the plasma takes very little time. Using it in the attack, it just makes you angry, losing plasmas which is the source of damage.
